The Research Lab

Research Lab Contents:

For those of you who remember the college ruled paper format from the old days (yesterday), don't worry we haven't done away with it, it is just going to be used a bit more conservatively. Ultimately this page, (the Research Lab Contents) will be used to list updates made to this section. For now here is a brief description of the categories.

History - upcoming features will include interactive timelines, links to useful internet resources, and Rat Lab perspectives on any topic that falls into this general category.

Philosophy and Religion - outline of different philosophies and religions, links.

Language Basket - origins of common everyday sayings, favorite latin expressions, favorite authors, book reviews, links.

Tools - links to useful software and online resources.

Educational Links - as the name implies, check it out if you need to know more.

Health - information on food and nutrition, exercise, medical links and info, herbs, drugs, etc...

Political B.S. - as the name implies, politics can be a big mess, but we will pick and choose topics that might shed some sort of light on the situation.

Tutorials - Computer Graphics, Music Software, Music Business, Computer Maintenance and Repair, etc...

This is what I have so far, but as more ideas come to mind I will add in or adjust the categories accordingly. Any suggestions? Please email them to info@theratlab.com or post on the ~~Chalkboard~~

Welcome to the Research Lab.

         As you can see, we still have a litte work to do around here. I'm not even going to bother throwing in a link to get you back to the homepage. So now you have to use your back button. What a pain. By the way, are you still reading this? Because it is pretty much pointless and as far as I can tell a waste of both of our time. Sorry about this I am just rambling on because, well, because I am. Ramble on, Ramble on, Listen, or rather read as I ramble and blather and just keep on going. Will there ever be an end to it?

         Perhaps... But then again, perhaps not. Is it conceivable that I could go on like this indefinately? Well I had to have stopped at some point to put it up on the website, so the answer is, there is a definite end in sight. Also if you look over at the little scroll bar on the right, you can roughly estimate how long of a haul you are in for. More likely than not however you probably just got impatient and scrolled down to the bottom to see how long this ridiculous thing is. Then you either decided, screw that, I'm not gonna read all this jibber jabber, Or you decided that I am such a fantastic and interesting jibber jabberer that you simply must read each and every word and savor the flavor of it all.

         I hope it was all worth it for you dedicated few who pressed on while the meek ones went for their 'Back' buttons, or simply just shut down their entire machine in disgust shouting out

"MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY AND WHY DID FORCE ME TO READ ALL THAT BALDERDASH. I WILL NEVER GO ON THE INTERNET AGAIN. IT JUST ISN'T A SAFE PLACE FOR THE SANE. I MEAN, MY GOD, WHAT IF I WERE ONLY MINUTES AWAY FROM BEEING STRUCK BY LIGHTNING AND I SPENT MY LAST FEW MOMENTS ON EARTH READING THE SENSELESS RAMBLINGS OF AN OBVIOUSLY VERY DISTURBED AND POSSIBLY VERY HANDSOME LUNATIC. IT JUST ISNT RIGHT. IT MAKES ME SICK. I THINK I AM GOING TO THROW UP. - HUUOAAAGGHHOO UUGG OOUUAAGGGHHGH HUFFGGOOOAARRRRFF BUWWOOAAAARRGHGH. - OH GOD NOW I HAVE THROWN UP ON MY FAVORITE SHOES. THAT'S IT, I AM GOING TO SUE. WHERES THAT DAMN PHONEBOOK, IM CALLING MY GOOD FRIEND JOHNNY COCHRAN AND GETTING THAT WEIRDO BASTARD. HE'S GOIN DOWN BITCH, THAT'S RIGHT HE'S GOING DOWWWNNN!!!"

or words to that effect. Yea, those people don't have that perserverance that makes you the shining beacon of hope and glory that you are. It is folks like you that keep me going. When the chips are down, and the going get going, and the tough get tough, and the wind is at your back, oh wait I think the wind being at your back is a good thing, kind of like it's blowing you along, you know making it easier to walk and all. O.K. let me revise that then. When the wind is blowing in your face at very high speeds and filled with dust and tumbleweeds and little rocks and pebbles and stuff that sting really bad when they hit you and force you to squint your eyes really tight so you can hardly see, oh and hail to, yeah thats right hurricane hail smacking your face an falling down the front of your shirt making you all wet and cold.

         Well anyhow it is you folks that just keep on going that really earn my respect, so I hereby dedicate this page to you, and for all that work I shall reward you with this back button. God-Speed and may the tides of fate wash on your shore a billion jewel encrusted treasure chests full of treasure. See you in the Odd Zone!!!!! Oh wait I haven't got the odd zone up yet, sorry.

         O.K. I guess I will see you on the home page, or the Forum because that is all I really have that is presentable at the moment. Technically I won't actually even see you there, but I think I will be able to sense your presence anyhow.
