I sincerely apologize for the interface of this website so far, this section in particular which completely goes against my normal design sense with the white type on black background aproach. Oh yeah I guess the Research Lab is pretty horrendous right now too. I think I am subliminally making a conscious effort to make things look bad enough so that I won't be able to let the design part slide after I am all worn out from gathering the content. Anyhow, untill I really iron out exactly where everything is going and how it is all going to fit together I don't want to spend any time thinking about how the interface is going to look or act, but I promise that in the end it will make a lot more sense than it does right now. So for those of us who want to witness the improvisational construction of a website, you are in the right place. Right now we are still building the foundation, and starting to do some of the framing. There will be bulldozers, cranes, dumptrucks, piles of steel and wires and miscellaneous supplies, planners walking around with blueprints pointing at stuff and discussing where things should go, and so on and so forth. Along with the construction of this site I figured I should start the tutorial section with a focus on web design. I know a few of you are on the verge of getting into it, so check out the tutorial section now and then for some useful information. |
